We’re an early pioneer in digital dentistry and our CEREC system is one of the key systems we use. CEREC is a CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) system that lets us take digital impressions, create restorations such as crowns, inlays, onlays, bridges, and implant crowns and place these restorations, all in a single appointment without requiring a dental laboratory.
Although each treatment is unique, a typical CEREC procedure begins with us taking digital impressions of your teeth using a scanner. This replaces the impression trays traditionally used in dentistry. Once the digital impressions are taken, our CEREC system can produce ceramic restorations to rebuild your teeth. After the restoration is complete, we check the fit in your mouth and make any necessary adjustments, and then we adhere the restoration in place.
The ceramics produced by our CEREC system are matched to the natural colour of your teeth so it will blend with your smile once it is in place.
