Veneers are ceramic shells that are adhered to the fronts of your teeth. To place veneers, we first take digital impressions of your existing teeth and design the appearance of your new smile. After that, the veneers are created by the doctor with the in-office CEREC system or by a dental laboratory.
To place the veneers, we remove a small amount of enamel from the surface of the teeth being treated, then we adhere the veneers in place.
Once they are in place, you care for your veneers as you would your natural teeth, with frequent brushing and flossing.
